At Home Self-Facial
Do you love going to the spa for lavish facial treatments, but don't have the time or money? No need to worry, there are many treatments that you can indulge in from the comforts of your home without spending a ton of money. Keep reading to find out how I spent my Saturday doing a facial.
Saturate your face with water and gently use your fingers to rub the Dove white beauty bar soap across the perimeter of your face and the t-zone. Massage your face for approximately one minute, and then rinse with cold water to help seal your pores. Hot or warm water forces your pores to expand, which creates oily skin. After rinsing your face, grab a wet cool face towel and pat your face dry.
The next two products work hand in hand. Adding moisture and hydration back into your face is so important. Apply a decent amount of Pixi Skintreats Glow Tonic toner to a cotton ball and evenly distribute the product on your skin. Applying a toner reveals glowing skin, improves circulation, and tightens the skin. If you really want to feel bad and bougie, freeze a few small cubes of the toner overnight and rub them across your face. Follow up with the Pixi By Petra Rose Gold Caviar Essence serum, this product is filled with rose petals and leaves your skin feeling soft. At some point we all start to get fine lines, so make sure that you work against gravity to pull upward on the skin when applying product. This method decreases the risk and enhancement of fine lines.

I then applied the Neutrogena Radiance Boost brightening mask. This mask is heavily saturated which leaves extra serum in the bottom of the package, but I'll get back to that. While you wait you can catch up on my previous blogs and sip on a glass of wine. Typically this is a 15-30 minute process, but I take advantage of the entire 30 minutes. Ha! After removing the mask (do not rinse your face), apply the left over serum to your face. Our face is thirsty, so let her drink up. Why deprive her of the serum? I'm not!
If you have discoloration around the eyes, the Olehenricksen Banana Eye Cream color corrects the eye, brightens, and allows you to look more awake. Grab a small amount to gently pat under the eye and swipe your fingers in an "U" upward motion towards the tail end of your eyebrow. To make sure that the product is sealed into the skin under the eyes, press lightly with the tips of your fingers.
With the crazy weather that I have been experiencing this past week, my lips were screaming for moisture. The Beauty Bakerie Sugar Lip Scrub exfoliates, hydrates, and brings the lips back to life after the removable of dead skin. After placing the scrub on your lips, take a clean tooth brush in circular motions to help break down the dead skin. Grab a clean cloth to wipe off the remaining scrub and dry skin. Your lips will be left feeling soft, kissable and ready to throw on your favorite gloss. To complete the facial, I applied the Pixi Glow Mist for added protection, glow, and a luminous finish.
If you do have time to spare, you should treat your hands to a Iroha Nourishing Argan Hand Treatment Mask Gloves. We use our hands a lot and sometimes we neglect to keep them moisturized. The gloves start to repair and moisturizes your hands instantly, but Iroha recommends leaving the gloves on for 15 minutes for great results.
